Nicky Green
Hello, I'm Nicky, the nursery manager here at Just Imagine Wickford London Road. I've worked in childcare for over 23 years and joined Just Imagine in 2008. I hold an NNEB Diploma in Early Years and Childcare.
Being a mother myself, I understand the concerns and worries of parents when choosing a new nursery and the difficulties of being separated from their children. That's why we ensure a safe and secure, yet warm and inviting, environment for both children and parents. With natural resources, we provide a calming and relaxing experience throughout our setting.
I am passionate about ensuring that every child receives the individual support and care they need to progress their learning and development in readiness for their big futures. Our dedicated, longstanding and passionate team actively promote learning through play and devise planning and activities around the children's interests, keeping them engaged and enthusiastic every single day.

Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is directly aimed at supporting the individual needs of the children we welcome through our doors. Each point has been carefully created by our team to support each child's development, enabling them to grow in confidence, feel a sense of belonging and most of all be happy.
Our curriculum focuses on four key areas. (1) Children learn to be happy and create friendships, building strong relationships with peers and practitioners. (2) They become confident communicators, developing the skills to express their feelings, share their ideas and use their words effectively. (3) We support children to respect themselves, each other and the environment, helping them understand the importance of kindness and care.
(4) Independence is woven throughout everything we do, as children learn to make choices, manage their own needs and develop the skills they need for school and beyond. We want our children to leave our setting ready to take on the next big chapter of their little lives, feeling happy, confident and able to create and maintain strong relationships.
