A day at nursery
Each of our nurseries has its own unique daily routine, shaped by the children and team. Generally the day follows a similar rhythm, and we encourage you to speak with the team during your tour to learn what a typical day looks like at your chosen setting.

Arriving at nursery
Arriving at the nursery can be a busy time, so we work hard to make it as smooth as possible. Many of our nurseries offer on-site or nearby parking, and safety is our priority from the moment you arrive. With secure entrances and a warm, experienced team ready to welcome you, you can hand over your child with confidence.
Your child will settle into their nursery room, joining other children at a similar stage of development. From the baby room through to pre-school, each space has its own look and feel, thoughtfully designed to support learning and growth. The session then unfolds through activities inspired by each nursery’s bespoke curriculum and guided by our five commitments.

Outdoor play and exploration
Outdoor play is a big part of nursery life. Our gardens and outdoor spaces give children the freedom to explore, climb, splash and take age-appropriate risks, supported by our attentive and experienced team of educators. We believe children can learn just as much outside as they do indoor-whatever the weather!

Mealtimes
Lunch and Tea time is a chance to enjoy freshly prepared, balanced meals from our seasonal menu, cooked on site by our nursery chefs and endorsed by accredited nutritional experts. We take allergens and food safety seriously, so you can feel confident your child enjoys a delicious, nutritious and safe meal with their friends every day.

Snack time
In the early years, regular, balanced snacks are important for maintaining energy levels, supporting concentration and encouraging healthy growth. These shared moments also help children develop independence, social skills and confidence around food choices. Snack time is a relaxed, social moment where children can explore new flavours and textures. Our snacks are carefully prepared as part of our commitment to healthy eating, helping children build positive relationships with food.

Our playrooms
From cosy corners to creative spaces, our indoor environments are designed to spark curiosity and imagination. Each area is thoughtfully planned in line with the nursery's curriculum and our five commitments, offering children access to a wide variety of resources and activities that support their learning and development across all areas.

Supporting healthy sleep and rest time
Sleep is crucial for growing bodies and developing brains, and we safely support each child’s routine with care and sensitivity. When children need to rest, our rooms become calm, cosy spaces where babies and children can sleep according to their individual needs. We take care to ensure every child gets the rest they need, so they wake refreshed and ready to play and learn for the rest of the day.

Home time
At collection time, your child’s key person will often be there to welcome you back and share a snapshot of their day, including progress, milestones and special moments. These daily conversations help build a strong partnership between nursery and home, giving you the reassurance, transparency and communication that matter most.
