With a large car park, our purpose-built nursery offers free-flow room-to-garden play for children from 3 months to 4 years. Strong safeguarding and nurturing care promote a deep sense of achievement in every child.
Our supportive team nurtures independence through engaging, child-led play experiences. Indoor areas link directly to outdoor spaces for fluid, natural transitions throughout the day.

My daughter has been going to Woodberry for almost 2 years and we have had nothing but a positive experience. The staff are kind and caring, and my daughter always comes home in a lovely mood. The drop off and pick up is very easy, and being able to pick her up at a time that suits me (within the paid day) is a great perk. My daughter has developed so much since being a Woodberry, I would highly recommend it here!

My little boy absolutely adore this nursery. He is absolutely thriving, his confidence has increased and his speech too. He often surprises us with stuff he knows that we certainly didn't teach him so we just know it has come from the nursery. They support his interests which we love and on the odd occasion he is upset going into nursery the staff are always willing to offer a cuddle which comforts us as we know he is being well looked after and nurtured.

Very happy with my daughter's development and her confidence level building. The staff are very friendly and cares for all the children very much. My daughter also loves going to and spend time in the nursery and with the staff. Great fecilities and we can even walk in side their rooms to drop and pick up. Definitely recommend this nursery for your children.

Review of Woodberry Day Nursery & Pre-School (Waterlooville)

My son started in April this year (in the pre school room). The staff we were very welcoming and I really felt like they wanted to get to know our son and his needs/interests. The nursery appears well resourced and our son has eaten a variety of meals. He always comes home happy and that is all you can ask for. There are occasionally some photos of our son on the app, of things he gets up to in his day and I always really enjoy looking at these - if there could be more photos it would be perfect.

My little girl has been coming to the setting for 7 months. She is very settled and loves the nursery. All the staff make her feel welcome in the mornings. The manager is great and the settling-in process was really easy. Seeing my child happy and settled makes me happy.

The nursery is an amazing setting for my daughter. She loves the staff and all the children there. The nursery also put on a lovely Christmas do for the under 2's. Everyone was involved. The staff are very friendly and very supportive with any decisions. They are willing to make time for every parent to ensure the children and parents are happy.

Review of Woodberry Day Nursery & Pre-School (Waterlooville)

Woodberry Day Nursery in Waterlooville was the first nursery we visited as quite nervous first time parents thinking ahead of our girl starting her nursery journey, the moment I went in I felt a homely warmth and my girl was super happy and playful in the environment. It took her a couple of weeks to adjust and get settled but she now loves it and talks about her room staff and friends all the time. As a bilingual household, our daughter spoke no English at the point of joining the setting, the staff were INCREDIBLY accommodating, learnt a few words to be able to communicate and comfort her but most importantly we could see the individual thought and care into her learning this new normal and language. We are beyond thankful she's now thriving in her routine, language and overall development, as well as constantly talking about how much fun she has at nursery.

I can not recommend this nursery enough. My son started here when he turned one and he's now coming up to two and a half. The staff are incredible and have been a massive part of his development. He's formed a great bond with the staff here which is so nice to see. They have also helped us with things we can do at home to help him develop. For example, activities to help encourage communication. The activities the children take part in and the food they are provided is excellent. Most importantly, my son absolutely loves going here and we feel comfortable leaving him (which is always a worry for new parents).

Cannot recommend Woodberry enough. My daughter has been going here since January 23 and after taking a few weeks to settle she now absolutely loves going to nursery! The staff are absolutely wonderful and the manager is always so helpful and makes time to have a conversation even when they're busy! I cannot praise Woodberry enough for their amazing service and care for my son. He had a tricky time at a previous nursery so we decided to move him and he has settled in so well. He has a close bond with a few staff members and they all do amazing work with all the children. The manager is also really lovely and approachable and great at keeping us up to date on all changes. I get daily updates on my son's eating and toileting and some photographs through the app which is amazing. Thank you so much, Woodberry.

My husband and I found this nursery after moving nearby and one of our children started at Woodberry at 18 months. We have been so impressed with how her development has improved in such a short period of time and she is happy and enjoys her time here very much making lots of friends and having the support and care from the wonderful team here. When we had our son I felt totally at ease for him to start and very relaxed about it knowing he will be well cared for. Highly recommend this nursery and thank you to the lovely team that do such a fab job!

My experience at Woodberry has been amazing. I met the team during my pregnancy to discuss my childcare needs and they kept in touch right up until she started. My daughter has been attending since she was 3 months old and I can honestly say that it's been a home-from-home experience - which has meant a very content baby and a happy mummy. The nursery manager has been there for us as a family from the beginning, she's been flexible with our needs and above all else, has put the needs of our daughter first. The team in the baby room and her key worker in particular are considered as family and we couldn't speak more highly of them. Our daughter has just turned one and I'm so grateful to the team at Woodberry for giving my daughter the best first year a baby could wish for. If you are looking for a nursery where your child will be loved and looked after and spoilt for choice in terms of activities, then look no further. Thank you to you all.

My kids love coming here. They have gone from baby room and toddler to just about to go to school and preschool. The team are great. There have been changes along the way but worked hard to keep continuity and consistency. The school leavers just did their graduation yesterday and the girls worked so hard to make it great and put a lot of time in their memory bag. Loved it. Well done team.

We placed our son in here when I returned to work and I can honestly say from the beginning it has been amazing, we had a few separation issues but I rested assured every minute that he was fine and never had to worry. He loves going there and I am kept up to date with every movement, what he eats and when he sleeps. I feel 100% at ease and would recommend this nursery to anyone! It's immaculate. Review of Woodberry Day Nursery & Pre-School (Waterlooville)

My son started at Woodberry Day Nursery in April ahead of me starting back at work in May. Both he and I found it very difficult to be apart in the initial days, however, it became clear very quickly that he thoroughly enjoyed his time there. Which in turn made it a lot easier to leave him. Now when we arrive in the morning he is visibly excited to be there. The staff greet us every morning with excitement and a warm welcome. I genuinely look forward to picking him up and finding out how his day has been and what everyone has been up to. The app is a huge bonus as I can check in on his meals, bottles and sleep throughout the day without having to be the annoying parent calling all the time and the weekly updates and pictures of the children's activities genuinely make my day when they are posted. In summary, we love Woodberry Day Nursery and hugely appreciate the love, care and attention they devote.

I cannot fault Woodberry Day Nursery, my son has been going here for the past year and we could not be happier. He absolutely loves it and does so much every day, we are able to keep up to date with all he has been up to which is really reassuring. The staff are always helpful, caring and their communication is excellent, they are also really helpful when we have to add an extra day last minute and I honestly cannot thank them enough for providing such good care and fun for my little boy.

Woodberry Day Nursery has been fantastic since my daughter joined up in January. The staff there are welcoming, kind and pro-active. The nursery facilities are amazing and having onsite healthy and nutritious meals, saves me so much time and gives me peace of mind that she is eating healthily. The app is fab. We get regular live updates and pictures of what our daughter is up to. She gets involved with lots of activities. She has told me how much she really enjoys it at nursery too and she is fond of the staff. I would absolutely recommend this place.

I would highly recommend Woodberry Day Nursery to all parents. We were stuck for childcare and Woodberry were brilliant at accommodating our son at the last minute. They invited us to have a view of the nursery and were brilliant at ensuring that we adhered to the COVID measures, that are currently in place. The site is clean and well maintained and all the little ones were so happy to be there. They have a fantastic app which is updated throughout the day and you can see your little one (which is great for parents like me who miss their little ones during the day!) My son started nursery in January. He is now almost eighteen months and we love the nursery. The staff are lovely and so welcoming. They have been very helpful to me on numerous occasions. They noticed a slight delay in my sons social and communication skills and upon my approval, have put plans in place straight away to help bring him up to speed with his peers. I really couldn’t recommend the nursery enough.

Since the very first contact with the Woodberry group, prior to Waterlooville being built, to our little girl starting, we have been impressed every step of the way. They have handled the current climate brilliantly with very child-led settling in and we have been kept updated every step of the way. Their Famly app is superb and we love having updates throughout the day plus regular milestone checks and more. The nursery has only been open a month and is starting to feel like a community, with great ideas posted to keep us busy at home. Most importantly, our little girl loves it. The team are fantastic and we can see they really take an interest and genuinely care. The setting is beautiful - we highly recommend to anyone considering a nursery/preschool in this area.
