About CherryPark Nursery
CherryPark Nursery is an OFSTED GOOD (2025) nursery in Havant, set within the Langstone Technology Park and caring for children from six weeks to five years. Our nursery is purpose-built, with spaces shaped around each age and stage so children can feel settled, comfortable and ready to explore.
Children are supported by a motivated team who plan learning through purposeful play, following children’s interests and encouraging confidence step by step. Experiences may include sensory play, early language, stories, creative activities and opportunities for independence as children grow.
Rooms are designed to suit different stages of development, including baby, toddler and pre-school spaces where routines feel calm and familiar. Mealtimes are supported by an on-site kitchen, with a thoughtful approach to individual dietary needs.
Strong communication with families sits alongside a warm, attentive approach, helping parents feel close to their child’s day and reassured in the choices they are making.

Nutritional Approach
We believe food is fundamental to healthy growth, happy minds, and positive lifelong habits. In the earliest years, what children eat shapes taste preferences, supports brain development, and lays the foundations for long-term health.
All meals are freshly prepared on site each day using quality, seasonal ingredients. Our menus are developed with expert guidance, designed for inclusion, and go beyond Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. We want every child to become a confident, curious eater.

Meet Our Nursery Manager
Hannah Withers
Hey there, I'm Hannah. Since leaving school, I have worked in childcare, starting out as an apprentice and working my way through different roles, including qualified nursery nurse, room leader and deputy manager.
I started working for Cherry Childcare in June 2014 as nursery manager at CherryIsland Nursery. I transferred to the larger CherryPark Nursery in May 2018 to progress in my career by managing a bigger nursery.
I have training in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Managing Children's Behaviour, SEND and EYFS. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nursery as well as the Behaviour Management Coordinator.
I love watching children grow and develop during their early years and helping them build the confidence they need for the next steps in their journey.

Our Commitments
Our curriculum is built around five core commitments that guide how we nurture every child.

Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is built around three key areas: Confident Communicators, A Sense of Belonging and Independent Learners. We use children's interests, ideas and fascinations to develop activities where every child is inspired to learn. Children are encouraged to express their wants and desires, have their voice heard in a safe space, and understand that everyone is unique and different.
We promote active learning through purposeful play, creating opportunities that are fun and enjoyable. Our aim is to inspire awe and wonder, giving children the chance to explore, investigate and discover at their own pace. We encourage a "can do" attitude, helping children feel proud of their achievements and confident to move on to their next stage of development.
