Tiny Tots Daycare is an OFSTED GOOD (2023) nursery in Ash, Surrey, on Ash Street opposite Walsh Memorial Church of England Infant School with direct bus links to Guildford and Aldershot. Our nursery provides a welcoming community hub for children aged 3 months to 4 years, with strong safeguarding and nurturing care that helps every child feel secure, valued and ready to thrive through play-led learning.
Our enthusiastic team crafts daily adventures across the EYFS curriculum, from sensory explorations to imaginative role-play that sparks curiosity and builds emotional confidence. Our bright indoor spaces brim with diverse resources, encouraging children to express feelings, share ideas and form lasting friendships in a truly inclusive atmosphere.
Our open outdoor area delights with a climbing frame for bold physical challenges, a potion station and mud kitchen for messy creativity, plus bikes for zooming fun that fosters sharing and resilience. Nutritional Approach

We believe food is fundamental to healthy growth, happy minds, and positive lifelong habits. In the earliest years, what children eat shapes taste preferences, supports brain development, and lays the foundations for long-term health.

All meals are freshly prepared on site each day using quality, seasonal ingredients. Our menus are developed with expert guidance, designed for inclusion, and go beyond Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. We want every child to become a confident, curious eater.

Meet Our Nursery Manager

Harriet Rhodes

Hi, I'm Harriet. I'm the nursery manager at Tiny Tots Daycare. With over 25 years of experience in childcare, including four years in management, I'm incredibly passionate about creating a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where children feel safe, happy and excited to learn.

My journey began in preschools and after-school clubs, and over the years I've been fortunate to work across a range of early years settings before finding my home in nursery life. I hold a Level 3 qualification in both Childcare and Leadership and Management, and I'm committed to continuous professional development to ensure we're always offering the very best care and education.

As a mum to a 12-year-old son, I truly understand the trust it takes to leave your child in someone else's care and I don't take that responsibility lightly. Building strong relationships with families is at the heart of what I do.

Review of Tiny Tots Daycare

Tiny Tots has provided a wonderful environment for our son to flourish. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children under their supervision. Our son refers to them all as his best friends and has built a great relationship with them since starting in the baby room through to preschool. We can also see how going to nursery has supported his learning and development, especially when it comes to his language and social skills.

A calm and happy environment for your little one to thrive! My twin girls love each session whilst, I , as a parent, I am kept in the loop of any new discoveries they make! I am impressed with how friendly and supportive the staff members are, I feel that they take the time to know the child and parents so to help the process of settling. At the end of each day I have the opportunity to hear all the exciting things they did! Al the team members are friendly and encouraging! My little ones are simply happy to go in which makes me feel at ease that they are in good hands! Thank you Tiny Tots for going the extra mile for us parents, I would recommend you to family and friends!

I can't praise Tiny Tots highly enough for all their care, attention, entertainment and affection for our baby girl. Our daughter loves coming to nursery (even though she is grumpy in the mornings!) and all of the staff there make her feel at home and happy. Even those who work in a different room know her by name. The range of activities is amazing, the variety of food is brilliant and the communication can't be faulted in anyway. It's so lovely seeing the photo updates and feedback on the development that has been observed. We love Tiny Tots!

Overall, we feel that this is a good experience for our son. Only two things I would build on are an accurate food menu on the app, and there seems to be a lot more pasta on the menus. Also, the observations take a long period of time before we see them.

Little one started nursery in January and she loves it. The settling-in sessions enabled our daughter to have a soft start and really helped. The team are great and are caring and supportive. Child loves going to nursery, which makes drop off a lot easier. Would definitely recommend.

Staff are always welcoming and loving towards her and has helped her settle in beautifully. and management are hands-on with all the children creating a beautiful bond. Our baby girl is attending this nursery for over 6 months now and we are very happy with the services they provide. They run regular activities throughout the day and post photos and regular updates on the daily routine. Excellent nursery with a real sense of nurturing towards children by all staff members. Staff are engaged and seem to be well motivated, they are friendly and are happy to chat in the morning and afternoon. I find the app really useful in knowing what is happening at the nursery. Review of Tiny Tots Daycare

My daughter has attended Tiny Tots for just over a year and a half. When she first started she really struggled getting settled but now happily walks in and enjoys her time at nursery. The staff changes have been a bit up and down since she started and more new faces recently but that seems to have stabled the current staff are all lovely and really welcome my daughter when she arrives which makes her feel welcome. She loves playing with the other kids and takes part in all the different activities but especially loves her key person and room leader who makes sure she’s comfortable and seems to really understand her personality. Really happy with how she is doing at this nursery.

Review of Tiny Tots Daycare

My daughter has been at Tiny Tots for over a year and absolutely loves it. We were unsure how she would settle as we only recently moved into the area and it was a big change for her personally but we didn't need to worry as it's been a massive success and I can't imagine her anywhere else. She is constantly doing something new and always greets us with drawings, crafts, baking etc at the end of each day. She is constantly kept active and absolutely loves all the staff. We have great communication with staff both with drop-offs, collections and via online communications. We can honestly say we've had no issues at all, which is a credit to how hard the staff work and how friendly, approachable and professional they all are. Our youngest is soon starting at the nursery and already the staff have been amazing with the process for starting, with paperwork and the lead-up to settling, putting us at complete ease. Would highly recommend this nursery.

Review of Tiny Tots Daycare

My child has been attending this nursery for just over a year. They have been amazing! She loves going in every day and is always smiling when I pick her up. They have lovely activities out every day and she often comes home with pictures, artwork or baked goodies that she has made. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. You get regular updates throughout the day on how your child has eaten, slept and even updates on nappy changes. I can’t fault the nursery and we are very pleased that we have found such a welcoming, nurturing environment for our daughter.
