About Nursery On The Green
Nursery On The Green is an OFSTED OUTSTANDING (2024) nursery in Enfield, on Chase Side close to Enfield Chase station. Just a 7-minute walk from the station with limited spaces at the front for drop-offs and handy buggy storage, our setting at Foresters Hall delivers a genuine home-from-home learning environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. We use close observation and continual assessment to guide each child toward their full potential and smooth school readiness.
Our committed staff work hand-in-hand with families, crafting tailor-made settling provisions that align perfectly with EYFS guidelines and individual needs.
We welcome specialist Yoga and Music teachers each week for joyful, enriching sessions that boost wellbeing and creativity. Opportunities flourish for building social skills, independence and a lifelong love of exploration in our supportive space.

Nutritional Approach
We believe food is fundamental to healthy growth, happy minds, and positive lifelong habits. In the earliest years, what children eat shapes taste preferences, supports brain development, and lays the foundations for long-term health.
All meals are freshly prepared on site each day using quality, seasonal ingredients. Our menus are developed with expert guidance, designed for inclusion, and go beyond Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. We want every child to become a confident, curious eater.

Claire Crisell
Hi, I'm Claire, the nursery manager at Nursery on the Green. I joined in 2013 and have been with the nursery for over 13 years now. I have over 18 years of experience within the childcare sector and have loved every minute of my job, whatever role I have embarked on.
I offer support to the team on a daily basis and am a very knowledgeable and caring professional. I have a warm and caring attitude, and children and staff benefit from my bubbly, infectious personality.
I love this nursery and feel extremely proud to be able to provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for all our children. I truly dedicate my time to coaching and leading the team to ensure they are delivering above expectations and meeting the needs of all the children, parents and colleagues. I am looking forward to working for many more years in childcare.
