About The Marlow Riley Park Day Nursery & Pre-School

The Marlow Riley Park Day Nursery is an OFSTED GOOD (2024) nursery in Marlow, set within Riley Park Pavilion just off the High Street. Our nursery supports children from 3 months to 5 years in a light, modern space overlooking the park, with strong safeguarding and nurturing care that helps every child feel secure, relaxed and eager to explore.
Our airy playrooms open onto views of the green, giving children a constant sense of space and fresh air while they engage with inviting resources and cosy corners. Our friendly, community-focused team knows many families locally and takes pride in offering a genuinely personal, village-feel welcome in the middle of town.
Our direct access to Riley Park is a defining feature, with the playground, trees and open lawns right on our doorstep so outdoor learning can flow naturally from indoor interests. Within our garden and park surroundings, children may help care for plants, enjoy picnics on the grass or go on simple nature walks, absorbing a love of the outdoors alongside growing confidence and independence.

Nutritional Approach

We believe food is fundamental to healthy growth, happy minds, and positive lifelong habits. In the earliest years, what children eat shapes taste preferences, supports brain development, and lays the foundations for long-term health.

All meals are freshly prepared on site each day using quality, seasonal ingredients. Our menus are developed with expert guidance, designed for inclusion, and go beyond Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. We want every child to become a confident, curious eater.

Chloe Francis

Hi, I'm Chloe! I have over 13 years of experience working with children aged from 3 months to 5 years, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of their early years journey.

I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Childcare Level 3 and have been working in management for the past 5 years. Throughout my career, I have loved supporting children to grow in confidence, develop their independence and become confident little learners ready for their next chapter.

I'm passionate about providing the highest quality care, education and experiences for every child ensuring that each child is supported to reach their full potential in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.

I believe that working closely with families and maintaining open, honest and positive communication is so important in ensuring every child receives the best possible start. I’m looking forward to getting to know you, listening to your ideas and working together to create the very best experiences for your children.

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family and most of all, making lots of special memories with my little one

Our Curriculum

Our nursery works closely alongside Development Matters and our curriculum to ensure children have access to all opportunities. Children make good progress across the setting, and these are celebrated through observations, assessments and feedback from key workers.

Children are prepared for the next stage in their development, with rooms working closely together to ensure the curriculum flows throughout the nursery. This means children know what the expectations are daily, alongside a routine they can use throughout the day.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for a year now and absolutely loves it. She always comes home having had a good day, and it's been wonderful to see how much she has learnt and how her skills and confidence have developed during her time here. We are so pleased with the nursery and cannot speak highly enough of the staff. They are all so kind, caring and attentive. It's lovely to see how happy the children are, how well they get along with the staff and how much they enjoy being there. The staff also always make time at pick up to give us a summary of her day, which we really appreciate! The rooms / outdoor space are great, with plenty of space and a variety of toys and books. We get regular updates on the app, which shows us the different activities and crafts the kids have been doing. We are really happy with the nursery and would highly recommend it :)

Riley Park nursery is nothing short of amazing! I was anxious at first putting my son into a nursery just 10 months old so I could return to work as any parent would be. But the staff at Riley park went above and beyond to make sure my son was as comfortable and happy as possible as well as reassuring me during the process with daily updates, photos etc. My son absolutely thrives in their environment, his key workers are always so nurturing and you can tell they really love what they do and care a lot about the children! I'm so happy with my decision with Riley park nursery I cannot fault it!

Our daughter has been with Riley Park for over a year now and it's the best decision we made. We have found the team to be nothing short of fantastic. Always helpful, supportive and patient, especially through naughty spells and potty training turbulence. Special shoutout must go to Laila, Kealy, Abbie and Rachel. Don't know what we would do without you and your kindness! Every opportunity we get we recommend the nursery.

The nursery is a safe and engaging place for your child. They really enjoy it there. Our key workers Laila and Kealy are great and our boy absolutely loves them. We always get a warm welcome in the morning from Abby and a helpful summary at drop off. The garden play space and nursery pet are also fab to have.

A lovely nursery. I frequently pick up or drop off my grandchild. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and very caring to my grandson who is still sometimes clingy when he arrives. Some of the core staff have been at the nursery for the whole time my grandson has been attending and a really good bond has grown between them and my grandson and us as a family. We get frequent updates/ pictures throughout the day.. that always make us smile showing the daily activities or just little funny moments.

Review of The Marlow Riley Park Day Nursery & Pre-School

My little one has been at Riley Park since April and I couldn't be happier with the experience we've had. From the very beginning, the settling in process was brilliant. The staff took the time and care to really get to know my child making sure that we both felt comfortable and confident before moving forward. It never felt rushed - they genuinely cared that we were all happy. All staff are absolutely fantastic - always smiling, approachable, and friendly. They're more than happy to answer any questions I have, no matter how small, which really puts my mind at ease as a parent. The nursery itself has such a calm, welcoming, and inviting environment. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a space where children feel safe, happy, and ready to explore and learn. I'm genuinely very happy with my decision and would highly recommend to other parents. It's made the transition so much easier, and I'm grateful every day knowing he's in such good hands.

My little one has been at The Marlow Riley Park Day Nursery since it opened in January 2025, and I couldn't be happier with my choice of nursery! They were incredibly accommodating right from the start, offering three full weeks of free settling-in sessions before his official start date to ensure he felt comfortable and secure. That level of care and thoughtfulness really stood out to me, and it made the transition so much smoother for both of us. Every day, the staff share little stories about what he's been doing - and it's clear they know him well and truly enjoy spending time with him. The nursery's app is fantastic too. We receive regular updates throughout the day, they also share daily photos of the activities he takes part in, which gives us such a lovely insight into his day and all the fun he's having. The Nursery is a warm, welcoming, and professional setting, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent.We feel lucky to have found it!!

I can't rate the nursery highly enough. It was definitely the right choice for our daughter, she's happy and thriving. All the staff are happy, loving and engaged and the children have a great time. The app is updated throughout the day so I can keep an eye on what she's eating, when she's sleeping and more importantly see photos of her having a great time which makes being at work without her much easier.

Little Garden The Marlow Riley Park has provided the perfect start to my daughter's learning journey. She has a nice, clean and safe environment to play in with lots of modern toys and fun educational activities to partake in. The team of staff are professional and friendly and particularly accommodating to her needs. I would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.
