Zipadee Day Nursery is an OFSTED GOOD (2022) nursery in Leek, Â Staffordshire, located in the town centre with free on-site parking for easy drop-offs. Our purpose-built home provides spacious rooms and expansive gardens tailored for children from 3 months to 5 years in a serene, inviting setting. Nutritional Approach
We believe food is fundamental to healthy growth, happy minds, and positive lifelong habits. In the earliest years, what children eat shapes taste preferences, supports brain development, and lays the foundations for long-term health.
All meals are freshly prepared on site each day using quality, seasonal ingredients. Our menus are developed with expert guidance, designed for inclusion, and go beyond Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. We want every child to become a confident, curious eater.
Meet Our Nursery Manager
Katy Aubrey
Hi, I'm Katy, the manager at Zipadee Day Nursery. I've been working in childcare since 2014 and joined the nursery in January 2021. I hold my Level 3 qualification and I'm currently working towards my Level 5.
I'm an experienced early years professional who began my career as a playworker before progressing into full time nursery work. I completed my nursery apprenticeship and quickly advanced into a management role, driven by my passion for high quality, child centred care.
My approach is strongly child focused, with an emphasis on inclusion and ensuring every child feels a true sense of belonging. I value creating a nurturing, loving environment where children feel safe to be themselves, grow in confidence, and develop at their own pace.
I value building strong, trusting relationships with children and families. There is no other job like it.
