Our nursery delivers purpose‑built care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with safeguarding and attentive routines ensuring every child feels settled, celebrated and ready for growth. Nutritional Approach

Meet Our Nursery Manager
Lizzy Pennell
Hi, I'm Lizzy, the manager at Play Away Day Nurseries City. I've been working in childcare since 1997 when I joined the nursery. I hold a BA in Care and Education and have worked my way up from apprentice to nursery manager. Over the years, I've won awards celebrating both my achievements and the nursery's success.
What I love most about this work is the learning and development from the children. Every day brings new and interesting challenges, which keeps things fresh and engaging.
The real enjoyment and fulfilment comes from being part of shaping young minds. Knowing that the nursery plays a role in their early development and watching them grow into confident learners ready for the next stage is incredibly rewarding. Supporting families during this important time and seeing the progress children make makes every day worthwhile.
