Nutritional Approach

We believe food is fundamental to healthy growth, happy minds, and positive lifelong habits. In the earliest years, what children eat shapes taste preferences, supports brain development, and lays the foundations for long-term health.

All meals are freshly prepared on site each day using quality, seasonal ingredients. Our menus are developed with expert guidance, designed for inclusion, and go beyond Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. We want every child to become a confident, curious eater.

Prachi Patel

As Nursery Manager, I am passionate about creating a welcoming and nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and confident to learn.

I believe strong partnerships with families are essential in supporting every child’s development, and I take pride in leading a dedicated team that genuinely cares about each child’s wellbeing and progress.

Our goal is to ensure every child receives the highest quality care and education while building confidence, independence, and positive early experiences that prepare them for the future.

The nursery staff have been amazing in supporting my daughter and helping her feel happy, safe, and comfortable. I genuinely feel that they care about her and her well-being, which gives me great peace of mind. Harrow Day and Montessori Nursery has a wonderful and nurturing atmosphere created by the supportive and caring staff. They have gone above and beyond which reflects in my children's development and learning starting from the baby room. The large outdoor space is great for the kids as they spend a good amount of time outside. It was this and the staff which made our decision to send both our children there and we haven't looked back!

One thing I love about Harrow Day Nursery is the community it has curated with the parents, children and staff. Staff here are genuinely so caring, warm and trusting. They are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure the children and parents are happy. We are always greeted with kindness and a genuine smile, which makes such a difference. It is so reassuring to know our son is in a safe, nurturing environment where he is loved, supported and encouraged to grow. We have seen him develop in confidence, independence and social skills, and it is lovely to see how happy and settled he is. I do think that the nursery could do slightly more when it comes to notifying parents of illnesses so that they can be informed. I also think they can do more around preparing children for school life. The staff go above and beyond, and their dedication shines through in everything they do. We are so grateful to be part of it and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent

We originally chose this nursery because of the garden and rooms set up. Our daughter joined at 9 months and after 6 months of being there we couldn't be happier with her development and confidence. She's excited to enter the room and the staff are genuine. It's a lovely atmosphere with lots of planned family events too.

Manager is very helpful and staff are loving, my son goes in happy to see everyone and excited for what the day brings. I would prefer more communication with what they do every day and pictures of activities are sporadic on the app. Overall tho can see my son developing and have new experiences and enjoying a range of activities with staff he feels comfortable with.

As a young mum, finding the right nursery for my child was really important to me, and I didn't stop looking until I found somewhere I felt happy and comfortable with. The staff are kind, reassuring and understanding and the manager is very proactive and genuinely involved in the children's care. It means a lot to know that my child is in an environment where their wellbeing matters and where parents feel listened to and supported. I'm really glad I found this nursery and would recommend it to other parents.

We've had such a positive experience with this nursery since our son started in Feb 2026. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive and welcoming, and you can really see how much they genuinely care about the children. The outdoor area is fantastic and gives the children plenty of opportunities to play and explore. What really stands out is how much the nursery does beyond the usual day-to-day care. They regularly go the extra mile for the children, families and the wider community, including organising lovely events outside of normal nursery hours. We've always felt very supported and included as parents, and we would happily recommend the nursery to other families.

As a father, dropping my son off at Harrow Day Nursery, Montessori , gives me total peace of mind. The team is phenomenal-the staff show incredible warmth and patience, and the management is exceptionally organized, approachable, and transparent. The space is brilliant: bright, secure, and packed with authentic Montessori resources, plus wonderful outdoor areas for children to explore safely. The activities are perfectly balanced, blending structured learning with creative play, sensory exploration, and arts and crafts, helping him build real confidence and independence. Seeing how excited he is every morning speaks volumes. We couldn't ask for a better foundation for our little one

We have found the nursery to be a caring and nurturing environment where our child has been well looked after and grown in confidence and independence. The staff are kind and patient, and happy to answer any questions we may have to accommodate our child's needs. The setting is spacious with a lovely garden. An added bonus is the nursery regularly puts on events on the weekend, which are well attended and are a great opportunity to meet other parents and staff in a relaxed environment.

Yuvi has just moved into the preschool room, and the team made the whole transition so smooth and positive for him. To make it easier, he would have breakfast in the toddler room and then gradually move over to preschool. This gentle transition really helped build his confidence and made the change feel very natural. Every single team member has been amazing, and my little one often talks about his teachers as his "friends", which says it all! I genuinely wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone. A special shout-out to the management team too - they are always on it and incredibly supportive! Couldn't be happier with our experience. X

We've now been at the nursery for over a year and still absolutely love it. Prachi and Billi have always been amazing. They're warm, approachable and adaptable, and genuinely care about the parents as well as the children. I feel bad naming names because the whole team is wonderful and they all go above and beyond. My daughter has thrived. She's always happy to go in, eats well, plays constantly and her language has come on so much. She's also become very independent (lucky or unlucky, I'm still figuring that one out!). When you pick up, you can see how engaged the children are. They're pottering around, playing and exploring, and it genuinely makes me happy to see. I also love how much time they spend outdoors. As a working mum, it's so important knowing she's getting the stimulation, interaction, play and learning she needs during the week. After more than a year, once I've dropped her off, aside from missing her, I have absolutely no worries about her.

All of the teachers really care about the kids,you can see it in the way they treat them. My son loves the nursery and I saw a real difference in his knowledge only weeks into him starting at almost two,when he recited the whole alphabet! They have very creative ways of learning which I love.

We've had such a lovely experience with the nursery, and it's been a really special journey for our family. Our older child has recently moved on to school, and now our younger one has started, so we've been lucky enough to see both sides of the nursery experience. Billie has been absolutely amazing throughout the transition. She's been so supportive, approachable and understanding, and has really helped us as parents as we've navigated the change from one child to the next. Thank you Billie!! The nursery has always felt like a really warm, welcoming place where the children are genuinely known and cared for. Knowing that our younger one is happy, settled and looked after so well gives us such peace of mind. Prachi, the manager, is always so accommodating and the team here are exactly who we want to be taking care of our kids. We honestly couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough. It's become such an important part of our family life.

I have been a parent of 2 children attending this nursery at separate times and under 2 different managers - I cannot express how much of difference it has been. Prachi was been a breath of fresh air to the place and you can genuinely feel the positive atmosphere and happiness of the staff - them being able to actually care for the children with their hearts full and shoulders light. This nursery has a beautiful community spirit and my current toddler happily waves goodbye as he goes in to start his day - he is always welcomed with smiles. Some of the staff are the same from almost 7 years ago and they have truly made such a positive impact on my children. There's always mixed feelings when it comes to leaving children in day care. However, I can confidently say that I always feel that my children are safe and shining bright at Harrow Montessori.

We have had a wonderful experience at Harrow Day Nursery from day one. During my son's first few weeks, the team went above and beyond to provide extra support, helping him settle in smoothly and making a huge difference during those initial steps. It is clear how much my son loves being there, and I can tell he has built genuinely strong relationships with the staff, especially with his key person, Denise. They have grown such a strong bond that is so lovely to see. The team does a fantastic job supporting his development every single day, keeping him engaged and constantly learning. The entire team is super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to answer any question, no matter how small. A special mention has to go to the nursery manager, Prachi. She is absolutely amazing and creates such a warm, loving, and positive environment for all the children and families. I couldn't ask for a better setting for my son!

My daughter absolutely loves her nursery! She joined the baby room and has moved through toddlers and now in preschool, and the progress we have seen in her development has been amazing. My youngest daughter was admitted to hospital and during this time the staff and management were so helpful and accommodating to our needs. They made sure my older daughter in pre school was ok and constantly asked for updated from my parents and even myself when I eventually started coming back to pick my daughter up. They showed me it wasn't just a nursery but more like friends and family.

Our toddler started at the nursery as a baby and the care he received in the baby room really made us feel that it was a safe secure space for him. He developed strong attachment with the baby room staff and then with other staff members as he moved from toddler room to preschool. Management were good at identifying and assigning appropriate staff members as his key person, as he developed a good bonding with them. They understand him emotionally and are there to support him and encourage him to try new things that he finds challenging - we personally saw how a staff member patiently and lovingly supported his potty training journey, using lots of positive reinforcements. We have now trusted the nursery with our second baby and he has been thriving - he loves singing and laughing with the staff members, and he has developed so much in a short space of time, it's been heartwarming to see him grow and thrive!

I couldn't be happier with the care my daughter receives at this nursery. From the very first day, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, nurturing, and attentive. It's clear that they genuinely care about the children and put a lot of effort into creating a safe, enjoyable, and stimulating environment. Although my daughter is still a toddler and not yet speaking, she's always happy and excited when we arrive, and she settles in so well. Review of Harrow Day Nursery & Montessori

The nursery staff have the best of intentions towards the children and are always thinking of new and innovative ways to keep them engaged. They recently had Donkey visit the nursery. The children learned a out life cycles with love chicks hatching from eggs. We are even impressed with the new learnings and habits brought home. The facilities are nice and spacious. The toddler and pre school room in particular. The garden space is large with lots to do. The administrative side continues to improve and engagement with parents is improving. Overall you can tell that this is a good nursery that is always trying to improve and doesn't get comfortable with where it is currently at, which would be easy to do after recently receiving a positive Ofsted report.

The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, extremely caring with the children, the admin is great, so efficient. I have found the nursery exceptionally responsive to the individual requests that I have had with regard to the care of my son. My son are so happy and content here. The nursery is accommodating to children's needs. Some Key workers and staff are very good. We are happy with the overall management. My child is happy and I feel safe sending my child to the nursery. Care and management from the nursery is excellent. Our child is happy to arrive for breakfast and can’t wait to show us all the things they’ve done when picked up. Daily reports through the app are thorough with photos. Carers are quick to inform us of any incidents and regularly put on family events. Facilities and the building itself (a former church hall) are excellent with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for children to enjoy.

My daughter has attended this nursery since October 2023, where she started in the toddler room, but has since transitioned into the preschool. The staff were warm, engaging and caring, and she enjoyed the various activities planned each day. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the outdoor area is well-equipped and spacious as well. The staff are good with communication, and the app is very useful as well. I viewed several nurseries in the area, and this one was by far the most welcoming and spacious.

I’ve had a great experience with Harrow Day Nursery. My daughter has just started in the last month, and all the staff have been so helpful and patient in settling her in. The staff do daily updates on the nursery app of how my daughter is doing, which is great because as a parent, you want to know how they are when you’re not with them. Overall, I would highly recommend Harrow Day Nursery.

After visiting approximately 10 nursery open days in the local area we chose Harrow Day Nursery and Montessori. My son has attended the nursery since August 2023 and has settled in so well. The atmosphere inside is very calm and clean and all the staff do a brilliant job. My son has learnt so many things through the varied activities at the nursery and both my wife and I are confident he is safe and well looked after. Communication with nursery staff is always fast and efficient. My son loves going to the nursery and is extremely happy so we know his needs are being met. We cannot recommend the nursery highly enough.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since 2021 and she loves every minute of it. The primary caregivers are amazing and go above and beyond with her. She's always telling us lovely stories about her teachers and friends. It's a little community and I thoroughly enjoy listening to her about her time there. The teachers are awesome, cannot fault them in any way. They always listen, and if there's something wrong, they're hot on the trot to sort it out. She has adapted to the environment there with ease. The transition from baby to toddler to preschool was smooth and carefully thought out by her caregivers. There are lots of celebrations too, which she loves and we love attending too as parents. Lots of online activity, checking in on her progress with new work cycles. Her eating habits have also improved by trying new things there. I'd highly recommend Harrow Day Nursery to my friends and family. We'll be sending our second child there too.

The classes are mixed and each culture is taught and respected. My child has only been here a month but they have already grown and developed more in speech and character.

Review of Harrow Day Nursery & Montessori

My son has been attending Harrow Day Nursery for a year now and has settled in so well there. His primary caregivers always go above and beyond to make sure he is happy and comfortable in his environment and developing well. The staff are excellent, always happy and create a safe and loving environment for my child to learn and develop.
