Emily Burgess

Director - Early Years

Emily has been in Early Years for 21 years, originally starting on a level 2 apprenticeship in a large group where she spent 16 years working her way through to Nursery Manager of one of the groups highest performing nurseries. With the success of this she was part of opening a second nursery close by. Emily then moved in another large nursery group spending 3 years in senior support roles improving nurseries quality and care and the commercial performance of a region of 25 nurseries.

Emily has a strong passion for investing in people and their professional development by empowering them to deliver the best results.

Outside of Family First, Emily is a proud wife and mum of 2 girls who all keep her busy.  They enjoy travelling together and just generally having fun as a family.
