Two children gone through this setting, with the youngest currently in the preschool group. Staff are genuinely wonderful with the children. Caring, while making their time there exciting and fun. Our daughter comes home and can't wait to tell us what she has been doing/learned each day. When there have been difficulties, the staff have always been practical and help progress solutions. Facilities are always clean, outside play area is ideal, and breakfast smells good when I drop off... they seem to manage to feed her a wider variety of food than we seem to achieve at home! Had some minor issues in the past with accounts/billing, but all got resolved, and even this has improved noticeably over the previous 12 months.

Could not recommend the nursery enough, staff and management are fantastic and my son really enjoys going and gets sad to leave. I have found no issues and feel they are extremely attentive to individual children's needs and communication and updates through the app are brilliant also getting a glimpse into my son's day when he's there and the fun activities for the children and a great outdoor space. I feel my son is having a wonderful time at Woodberry i cannot praise the current management and staff enough.

My son has only been with Woodberry for the last month and the difference I've noticed already is incredible! The staff team are knowledgeable and welcoming to everyone! They're amazing with communication and always giving enough on the app, which gives me ease when I'm working. The setting is great for the kids and lots of activities for them to do throughout the day. The on-site cook provides healthy meals for all the kids which is reassuring as a mum that he's getting the nutrients that he needs. Thank you to all the staff for all their hard work and their dedication to keeping my son safe and happy.

Our son has just completed 3 years at Woodberry and is now off to school. We have had a wonderful experience, and he has thrived, learning so much and having fun every day. The staff are wonderful, so nurturing and always planning fun activities for the children. The setting is excellent with a huge wrap-around garden, and really well-equipped rooms for each age group. The on-site cook is also great, making delicious healthy meals for the children daily. We miss Woodberry already and would recommend it to everyone!

From baby room to now preschool, my daughter has always been given amazing one-to-one care from her key worker in each room and her needs have constantly been met. My daughter has been going to the nursery now for 2 years and she absolutely loves it there and so do I, the staff are amazing; supportive, and caring. Myself and my daughter have been having a very traumatic time recently and they have supported us in every way possible. My daughter has learned so much from the nursery and I couldn't be prouder. Our daughter started at Woodberry just after her first birthday. We relocated and had to move her nursery a few weeks before her starting. This change in our lives for us was stressful but in relation to the nursery, the move was very smooth and we were put at ease by Woodberry and the handling of our daughter's enrolment at such short notice. Our daughter has thrived at Woodberry, we have noticed how much she has grown and developed intellectually as a person throughout her time here. She speaks so fondly of all the staff, who are very approachable and take the time to ensure you are fully informed. She is very comfortable and confident in the setting. She always comes home and is very excited to tell us about her day, what she has been doing, who she has been playing with and especially what she has had to eat! She also always comes home with beautifully done hair as well and is clean and tidy. Which gives us confidence that she is well looked after.

My daughter has really grown in confidence in the nursery. They have just changed the structure of the rooms and it is wonderful for all the children. My daughter loves the girls that look after her and we play nurseries at home and I have to be them. Initially, she struggled crying not wanting to go in and now she goes in waves goodbye and gets a good cuddle before playing with her friends. Every time I pick her up she has a smile on her face and even said for me to come back a bit later as she was about to play in the garden! There is always something new and exciting for her to do when she goes in and the activities change daily she loves her nursery.

Our daughter started at this nursery when she was a year old and she absolutely loves it. The staff are absolutely fantastic, every single person is kind and approachable and always so lovely to our daughter. Our daughter has really developed since going here. The food is wonderful, the activities are wonderful and so creative. Each day is different, I can’t recommend this nursery enough. I have 2 children that attend this nursery and they are always so happy going in and thoroughly enjoy their day spent at the nursery. Staff are always friendly, caring, and go the extra mile to help the children. They have a good range of activities and brilliant outdoor space which is great for the children to run around and explore their environment. The staff at Woodberry go above and beyond for all the children. Our daughter loves attending, she sleeps, eats and plays with no problems at all. We receive regular updates and feel confident in leaving our child with very caring, supportive and professional staff. Leaving your first child with complete strangers can be a stressful time for any parent, but from our first settle in session it has been far from it. Both of our children have been attending this setting (eldest from June 2020 and youngest from January 2023). We have experienced a number of staff transitions and two ownership changes. Despite those taking place, there has been great continuity of care provided throughout with a couple of personnel that have been there many years, including the current nursery manager. There’s evidence of adaptability and flexibility around each child’s needs and preferences (e.g. sleep timings, skin care, dietary restrictions, confidence building). The facilities are of good standard with plenty of outdoor space and some flexible indoor options, including a climbing frame room and a sensory room alongside the main rooms split by age group. Daily activities are ample for each room and updates are offered to parents on pick-up and periodically observations are posted via the app. Both of our children do appear to enjoy nursery food. The costs have risen over time, but not inconsistent with alternatives.

Not bad but not great. The standards definitely dropped since under new ownership. My child used to love going to nursery but now he is much more hesitant as he is saying is not as much fun. He also eats less when there as the menu is not as exciting as it used to be for him. The place itself seems somehow more messy and unloved. Staff are attentive and friendly, but the turnover is quite high. As a result, makes it harder for children to develop a bond and trust and staff do not always have sufficient time to truly get to know a child. As a parent, I'm finding communication regarding staff changes challenging. Photos are rarely updated and names are mentioned mostly in passing at pick-up times. That said, most of the staff are lovely and my child speaks very fondly about a few of them.

I wasn't happy with my daughter's previous nursery and decided last October to move her. It was a tricky time due to the pandemic and not being able to go into the nurseries, but when restrictions started to lift we thought we would look around. Woodberry was the first out of three we were going to look at that day and as soon as we walked through the gates we knew it was going to be perfect for our daughter. Inside, the baby room is open and spacious - full of light and fresh air. Perfect setting. The girls are polite and so easy to communicate with, if you need to know anything they are always quick to respond with an answer. The app they use is fantastic! Whilst at work I receive updates on how my daughter is getting on which is a great comfort. They teach sign which has been so lovely to be able to communicate with my daughter. Her speech and understanding are incredible and she is not yet 2! Couldn't recommend enough.

I am over the moon with Woodberry nursery and I'm really glad that I chose to send my son there when he was just over two years old. The staff are all absolutely lovely and so friendly and the manager always goes above and beyond to help whenever I have a query. My son always enjoys going and looks forward to it and has made so many lovely little friends. The equipment and resources that they have there are very impressive and the garden is huge and ideal for taking part in lots of fun activities that I’m always hearing about at pick up time. I really couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

The staff are always so friendly and even know my son's new baby sister's name - even though she doesn't attend nursery yet! I was very anxious about sending my little one to nursery, as I gave birth to him in the lockdown, so I was worried about his social skills and his development. I went round to a few nurseries in the area and just didn't feel as though my little boy would feel overly comfortable. We walked into Woodberry Day Nursery with my little one and he loved it instantly and felt extremely comfortable. We had some great taster sessions. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the observations and updates are amazing and frequent. He has a variety of foods served hot or cold, which he really enjoys. I would very much recommend this nursery to everyone who needs one. But don't take my word for it, have a look round and witness the amazing the nursery yourself.

Our daughter started at the nursery at one-year-old after three months of the first lockdown. I thought she’d really struggle to settle in, especially as we’d only been in the building for an hour with her, to introduce her to one of the nursery ladies. However, after three weeks, she was all smiles as we dropped off. She has grown and flourished under the care and encouragement of the team, in the baby room. She loves all of the nursery ladies, especially her key worker. Over Christmas, we took a two-week break and she really missed the staff and asked after them. Due to lockdown, they are closer to her than any other friends or family. We get regular updates on her progress against the EYFS milestones and ideas for the next steps to try, but at the same time, we never feel that she is being pushed - they allow her to develop at her own pace. Our daughter uses baby signing which really helps, as the team use Makaton so she is able to communicate with them. Our daughter loves her time at the nursery, so we are very happy.

My child has been attending the setting for a few years now and with the transition of the new owners and Covid-19, it’s been a bit of a bumpy ride. The facilities and activities are great and the staff are fab. The app is great for daily updates and it has made communication a lot easier. Since the new owners have taken over, there have been a few staff changes, from staff leaving to staff going to work at their other settings. This made it harder to establish a rapport with managers, etc. However, this does seem to be improving. The only downside to this nursery is the fact that the directors have not been very approachable.

I have two children at Woodberry, one in the baby room and one in preschool. My child in the baby room is 18 months and absolutely loves going. He's so excited to leave in the morning when I tell him we are going. He goes in with a smile and comes out so happy, sometimes he has to be convinced to leave. He is visually impaired and has a few extra requirements but they are amazing with him and the sensory room, in particular, is perfect for him. My son in preschool is about to turn four and has been at the nursery since he was eleven months old. In every room, all the girls have been wonderful. He needs a bit of attention for his speech and they give him that, which is really helpful. I think the facilities at Woodberry are amazing, especially the huge garden and sensory room. They blew us away compared to any other nursery we saw.

My son loves going to nursery - what better recommendation can there be? He has been attending Woodberry Fawley for the last year and initially struggled to settle. The staff in the baby room were brilliant with him and l always felt like I was leaving him in good hands. Since returning after the enforced lockdown closure, he has loved every second. He cannot wait to leave the house on nursery days. I find the Famly app really useful for seeing what he is doing during the day and getting all the details that could be missed during pick up handover. It is also lovely to receive photos of the children, especially as we cannot see in the building due to COVID restrictions. Every time we have needed to contact the nursery they have responded quickly and given us any information we have requested. The nursery do a wide range of activities with the children, which my son enjoys and most importantly to me when we pick him up, he is always happy, smiling and reluctant to leave.

Our little boy had been attending Woodberry for 3 months now, previously coming from a childminder setting. The difference we have noticed in his development and confidence is amazing! He practically runs through the door each day which speaks volumes about how happy he is. My daughter aged 4 has attended Woodberry since she was 8 months old so we have seen how Woodberry have dealt with the transition from the previous owner to themselves and how they have made some very positive changes from food choices to safety and much more! My daughter really enjoys her time at Woodberry and the communication throughout the day is brilliant! The staff are all welcoming and friendly and the nursery manager has been extremely helpful supporting our daughter and the staff in her room with her speech delay. I love the location being by the edge of the New Forest but also how secluded it is with its wrap-around garden.
