Family First Collaboration with the NSPCC
&w=3840&q=75)
At Family First, the safeguarding, wellbeing and happiness of every child in our care is at the heart of everything we do.
We are pleased to share that we are working with the NSPCC, one of the UK's leading child protection organisations, as part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest standards of care and safeguarding across our nurseries. This collaboration will help us build on the strong safeguarding practices already in place and ensure we continue to learn, develop and follow best practice across the early years sector.
As part of this work, the NSPCC will be:
Visiting two of our nurseries to gain an understanding of our day-to-day practice
Meeting with nursery leaders and safeguarding teams to gather feedback and share expertise
Reviewing our safeguarding culture, policies and procedures
Supporting us to further enhance our recruitment and safeguarding processes
For families, this collaboration offers additional reassurance that we are continually investing in the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care and seeking opportunities to strengthen our practice wherever possible.
Through this work, we are reaffirming our commitment to:
Keeping children safe and supported
Continually improving our policies and practices
Ensuring children's welfare remains central to every decision we make
We are also in the process of exploring a commissioned helpline to the NSPCC which will give us access to expert safeguarding advice, guidance and support.
We are proud to be working alongside the NSPCC and look forward to the valuable insights and expertise this collaboration will bring as we continue to provide safe, nurturing and high-quality environments for all children.
